Chip foose ridler award car6/22/2023 ![]() ![]() There’s OnStar, navigation, a modern audio system, and-most importantly-everything works. Most of the interior remains, as well, although certain elements of the dashboard and door panels were restyled to suit the ’60s vibe. The finished Imposter maintains the Vette’s 6.2-liter V-8 (with a Foose-added supercharger). To ensure that the driving experience matched the out-of-this-world bodywork, Foose’s customer for the car, Don Voth, purchased a brand-new 2008 Corvette in 2009 for the project, stripping the body but leaving the interior and electronics in place.
